Niki Ciccotelli Stewart is an artist, educator, museum professional, and lifelong arts and learning advocate.
Niki currently serves as Vice President, Chief Learning and Engagement Officer, at the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation. She is based at Taliesin West, Wright’s winter home and desert laboratory, where she is leading the reimagining of public engagement at this historic property.
As Chief Learning and Engagement Officer at the Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University (Philadelphia, PA), Niki strategically guided the learning team, exhibits team, visitor services, the Center for STEAM Equity, the museum shop, and the museum café. During her tenure, Niki led the work of creating and launching an Experiential Masterplan that reimagines the way a natural history museum engages with its visitors, the community, and the university.
As Program Administrator for Art Bridges, an arts foundation focused on funding the borrowing and lending of artworks and exhibitions across the country, Niki worked with the founder and inaugural team to design and initiate grantmaking, collection sharing, and exhibition programs that continue to serve people across America.
Over eleven years, Niki served in many roles at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art (Bentonville, AR). Starting in 2008 as the Head of School Programs, Niki was part of the inaugural team that conceptualized and launched the museum on November 11, 2011. As Chief Engagement Officer, Niki’s work included the conceptualization and launch of an endowed school visit program that serves 50,000 students annually, the successful launch of the landmark exhibition State of the Art: Discovering American Art Now, the expansion of the museum to include a second site (The Momentary), and the programmatic design and curation of Frank Lloyd Wright’s Bachman-Wilson House.
Niki has also served in roles at the John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art (Sarasota, FL), as a K-12 Art Educator (Florida), and for the Walt Disney Company. Some favorites include launching The Disney Institute, and helping launch Disney Cruise Line’s second ship, Disney Wonder.
Niki has served as a member of the American Alliance of Museum’s Education Committee leadership team, is a founding faculty member of the National Art Education Association’s School for Art Leaders, and is a graduate of the Getty Museum Leadership Institute. She holds a BFA in Illustration from Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, FL.

Libya Doman is a National Board-certified visual art educator and a cultural responsiveness facilitator.
Using art and conversation as “mirrors and windows” to seeing ourselves and others, she designs and
delivers curriculums, workshops, and keynotes to help educators grapple with topics that are often
deemed “taboo.” She is proud to have a degree from Spelman College; an HBCU. She earned her
Master’s in Art Education and 2D Art from TC, Columbia University. She has served as a school-based
lead mentor, a Fairfax County Public Schools induction coach, and a George Mason University adjunct
professor. She was a member of NAEA’s Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Task Force. In 2020, Libya was
named Virginia Art Educator of the Year. In recognition of her work with schools, boards, and museums
throughout the nation as a facilitator, keynote speaker, and presenter, Ms. Doman was recently named
a National Lowell Milken Center Fellow.

Ray Yang is NAEA’s first Director of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (ED&I) and Special Initiatives. The creation of this new position is part of the strategy outlined in the Recommendations From the NAEA ED&I Task Force to the NAEA Board of Directors. Ray’s work will encompass directing and merging initiatives under the ED&I and Advocacy & Policy pillars of the NAEA Strategic Vision.
Ray (They/Them) brings more than 20 years of experience in the arts and education. With a BA from Brown University and an MA in art education from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Ray has spent time in a range of art education fields as a classroom art educator, a grade-level dean in Seattle, an administrator in Chicago Public Schools, a museum educator at the Seattle Art Museum, as well as teaching graduate courses at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and leading outreach and teacher professional development programs at Chicago’s Hyde Park Art Center.
They have facilitated diversity and equity workshops, led affinity groups, trained with the National SEED Project, and served on the NAEA Equity, Diversity, & Inclusion Task Force. They see the chance to bring all these experiences together to serve as the inaugural Director of ED&I and Special Initiatives as a great honor, and they are excited to collaborate with NAEA members and leadership, Board and Staff, and arts partners across the country.
